Katie is part of the TVNZ 7 news team working as a
Producer/Presenter across hourly bulletins.
It's her first time in front of the camera but she hopes that her
background in news and current affairs will serve her well in this
challenging, fast paced role.
Katie joined TVNZ in 2002 as a bright eyed, bushy tailed intern
fresh from the New Zealand Broadcasting School and her home town of
Christchurch. Since her first stint with Holmes she went on to work
as a Close Up Producer and more recently the Assignments Chief of
Staff for One News.
Career highlights include producing the (very peaceful) Waitangi
2010 coverage for One News and heading the TVNZ news team at Sir
Howard Morrison's tangi. Oh and she'd be lying if she didn't admit
meeting Jennifer Aniston was pretty cool.
