All Black turned cook and restaurateur Grahame Thorne shares his love of the fresh food, landscapes and the locals of Central Otago in Thorney's Cooking Central.
In this new series to TVNZ Heartland, Graeme Thorn takes viewers on a journey of cooking and tasting wild game, spinning yarns and leaving a trail of lunacy and laughter in his wake.
Join Thorney as he creates delicious dishes such as Merino Lamb Baked in Hay, puts those old rugby legs to work running from a saffron grower or being arrested by the sheriff of Cardrona.
There will be plenty of fun and hijinks but Grahame Thorne will also visit some of the most treasured locations in the country, discovering the freshest quality produce in some of the most spectacular and picturesque scenery New Zealand has to offer.
