About the show:
In this half hour series Richard Till (artist, welder, cook) tours provincial New Zealand seeking out iconic kiwi cuisine which has stood the test of time, but possibly not of fashion.
From lamingtons in Levin to a farmer's roast on a high country station, Richard will celebrate the ordinary, seeking out both the expert and the amateur as they cook their favourite New Zealand food in their own Kiwi Kitchens.
Richard will then recreate versions of the food we have seen, using his own style and flair, to provide a three course meal which caters to our own contemporary lifestyles.
Characterised by generosity of spirit, Kiwi Kitchen is a quirky
irreverent celebration of the last 150 years of kiwi cuisine.
