Peter Jackson, New Zealand's most famous director, has agreed to join a new bid to help attract more tourists to New Zealand.
Jackson is to help judge a short-film competition, which was launched on Monday by Tourism New Zealand.
Film-makers have been asked to make their own short promotional film, shot in New Zealand, which shows the essence of the country.
And the top five movies will be used to promote New Zealand in the United States.
George Hickton, from Tourism New Zealand, says it's hoped the prize will attract trop draw talent from home and abroad.
"If you've been judged to be the best by people who are respected in the industry, it's a great thing to have on your CV," he says.
