Air New Zealand says exact figures for its the trans-Tasman flights can't be released but the national carrier is pleased with passenger numbers.
Spokesman Mark Street says commercial information surrounding flight load factors and forward bookings can't be disclosed. But he says the summer period was in line with the company's expectations.
Street says the trans-Tasman service continues to be heavily marketed in Australia, especially during winter.
