Tourism New Zealand launches a multi-million dollar campaign in China on Tuesday - designed to increase the number of Chinese visitors by 62%.
Two Chinese celebrities will front the campaign, based around their personal experiences of 100% Pure New Zealand.
Spokeswoman Sue Allen says the strategy makes the most of research showing word-of-mouth is a powerful influence on Chinese travellers' destination choices.
The campaign will run across digital channels, including the Chinese version of Facebook and You Tube.
