Stefan and Damon get all the adoration from Vampire Diaries fans but the town of Mystic Falls is full of very pretty people doing not so pretty things and we thought it was about time to give some love to the other hunks of Mystic Falls.
Jeremy Gilbert - The Brother (
played by Steven R. McQueen )
Age: 15 years old
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Light Brown
Relationship status: On the rebound, after two
tragic relationships.
Jeremy is Elena's troubled younger brother who started out on a
dangerous and self-destructive path after the death of his parents.
Season one wasn't kind to poor Jeremy, as he lost two vampire
girlfriends Vicki and Anna and had his neck broken by Damon. Thank
goodness for his uncle Jonathan's protective ring!
This season, Jeremy has stepped up and now he's in the know
about vampires, werewolves and the supernatural underbelly of
Mystic Falls, he wants in.
Tyler Lockwood - The Werewolf..? ( played by Michael Trevino)
Age: 17 years old
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Dark Brown
Relationship status: Single but most definitely mingling. Tyler gets around the ladies.
When we met Tyler at the beginning of the series, he was the angry jock picking fights with Jeremy and Stefan, but in season two we're starting to see a whole new side of Tyler.
Tyler has learned about the Lockwood curse that haunts his
family. With such a high death rate in Mystic Falls, it
wasn't going to be long until before Tylor somehow ended up
responsible for someone getting killed. Thanks to Katherine's
manipulations, he ended up accidentally killing a girl from
school and officially became a werewolf.
Tyler got much closer to Caroline as she helped him with his first
painful werewolf transformation but now he's a
fully fledged werewolf, whose side will he end up
taking...?
Matt Donovan - The Ex (
played by Zach Roerig )
Age: 17 years old

Hair: Blonde
Relationship status: It's complicated.
Elena's ex-boyfriend, is the perfect boy-next-door. He has his fair share of family issues and heartbreak, as well as a complicated relationship with Caroline, but he never lets his problems bring him down.. Now Caroline's a vampire and getting closer to Tyler, can their relationship last?
Alaric Saltzman - The Teacher (
played by Matt Davis )
Age: 30(ish)

Hair: Brown
Relationship status: It's very complicated. His
wife Isobel left him when she became a vampire. He's now dating
Elena's aunt Jenna.
Hired as a high-school history teacher, Alaric came to Mystic Falls
looking for revenge against the vampire who murdered his wife,
Isobel. But the truth about Isobel's death makes him realize he
married a stranger, and eventually brings him closer to the world
of vampires.
