Vampire Diaries cleans up at the Teen Choice awards
The fans have voted... and the Vampire Diaries cast have
dominated the stage at the Teen Choice Awards, winning six
surfboards!
The Vampire Diaries show won Choice TV Show:
Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvator) won two categories, Choice TV
Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi, and... Choice Male Hottie.
Ian's real-life girlfriend Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert)
won Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
Then Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes) won Choice TV Female
Scene Stealer; and her onscreen love Michael Trevino (Taylor
Lockwood) won Choice TV Male Scene Stealer.
The Teen Choice Awards are an annual American awards show that
honours the year's biggest achievements in music, movies, sports,
television, and fashion. American teens aged 13-19 vote for
their favourites, and the winners receive a full size surfboard as
a trophy.
