Among Tate Donovan's numerous feature film appearances are Exposed, Murder at 1600, Swordfish, Memphis Belle, Ethan Frome, Love Potion No 9 and Clean and Sober. Donovan was also the title voice in Disney's Hercules.
On television, Donovan starred in John Wells' series Trinity and the sitcom Partners as well as the miniseries Nutcracker: Money, Madness & Murder. He has guest starred on Friends, Ally McBeal and Mr Sterling and has appeared in several telefilms.
Onstage, he starred on Broadway with Judi Dench in Amy's View and in Kenneth Lonergan's long-running hit Lobby Hero. Donovan has worked with the Roundabout Theatre Company, the Manhattan Theatre Company and the Williamstown Theatre Festival, both on and off-Broadway.
