The resident villainess of Newport Beach, Julie Cooper is the new wife of property developer Caleb Nichol; ex-wife of Jimmy Cooper; mother of Marissa (and the little-to-never-seen Kaitlin); and new stepmother to Kirsten Cohen. And I guess if you're gonna get technical, she's also Seth's step-grandmother-in-law. Nutty.
Hailing from a lower socio-economic group, Julie Cooper married investment banker Jimmy Cooper young and they divorced last year after Jimmy was accused of defrauding his clients.
She dated Caleb Nichol for a while, but after that finished, she had a brief fling with her daughter Marissa's ex-boyfriend Luke. Then Caleb proposed and the pair got married late last season.
She spent season two ingratiating herself into the Caleb's property development company, which really got on company runner Kirsten's nerves.
After some trouble with a dodgy ex, Julie decided to make a go of her loveless marriage to Caleb. Then he totally up and died of a heart-attack.
