The Good Word Junior

The Good Word Jnr is a family-oriented take on the popular TVNZ 7
series, The Good Word.
The regular Good Word book review panel have been replaced by a
trio of 10-to-12-year-olds! Bearing many of the hallmarks of a
regular Good Word episode, the junior version will be set in the
Good Word studio and presented by novelist Emily Perkins, with
forays into the wider world for three documentary pieces. Actress
Antonia Prebble also shares her favourite book.
This special contains a 'tween-skewed version of another Good Word
regular, Under the Covers. This will feature reporter Finlay
Macdonald presenting a ten minute documentary going in search of
some of his own favourite local writers to talk to about their
favourite children's or teens' books and why and how they inspired
them.
