Renato Bartolomei plays Michael
Renato is of Italian descent and began his acting career in Australia. He first burst onto New Zealand screens in 2001 with a lead role in the New Zealand drama Mercy Peak.
But the role that Renato is probably best known for by New Zealand audiences, is his four years of playing Craig Valentine in Shortland Street .
He worked on a number of television series' in his native Australia throughout the 1990's including Water Rats, Blue Heelers and Family and Friends.
