Hugo
Hugo, 34, is the Liberator's strong arm and gun for hire. He's ex-SAS who has been a soldier of fortune for years now and made good money in Iraq as part of private security force.
He quite simply lives outside the normal rules of society because he's spent so much time in situations where those rules don't apply.
But for all his aloof arrogance and hard shell - Hugo knows his stuff. He's smart, intuitive and fearless. At first he's kind of amused by the Liberator's efforts but comes to respect them all.
He finds a surprising softness in himself when he starts dealing with Frances; an accepting, loving woman - he can't help but be touched by her. And finds himself really wanting to help her get her daughter back.
