Wow, this episode was really well acted. Danielle McCormack and Lisa Chapple are great. This series has taken a while to get into but I find it really involving now we know more about the characters from their back stories. I hope tv viewers have had the patience to follow the story, they are being rewarded if they have.

I love this programme too! Awesome actors, intriguing and suspenseful story line, good action scenes - NZ has successfully produced it's version of LOST â and it is well worthy of international stardom! Well done to all that are involved. I so look forward to 8.30pms on Thursdays - geez, it just can't come around quick enough.

It will be good to see some new actors not the ones we see in nearly every New Zealand programme or film. Renato's potrayal of Michael highlights the typical kiwi bloke of contemporary New Zealand. In some way, he is like Jack on Lost, but unlike Jack, Michael makes stupid decisions that risks the lives of his colleauges.
Its a bit arty too, which is really prevalant in New Zealand films and television (apart from Shortland St). I reckon if they loose the arty style and make put a realistic element into the programme, i reckon it would be an international success. However, New Zealand film makers wants to be original in the sense of avoiding Americanization---i think they want to highlight New Zealand culture.
But i was hoping for something a bit racy, thrilling and suspenseful. the director however, achieves most of that part with up close camera shots on some scences. Good plot too.

I was very impressed. Whilst it was quite "arty" at times it didn't detract from the overall tenor of the thriller vibe. Also very impressed with how the night work (eg lighting) was done in that everything was seen clearly, and yet obviously it was night time. Often so much is missed with night work. Keep it up, and you will have an excellent show that would be worthy of international viewing.
