About The Bill Engvall Show
Comedian Bill Engvall stars as Bill Pearson, a family
counsellor whose own family is
as unpredictable, absurd and mixed up as any other
family.
Bill's wife, Susan, tries to keep the clan in line, but their
three children - teenage daughter Lauren, sports and video-game
enthusiast Trent and musically talented neat freak Bryan - are keen
manipulators.
Bill is often nothing more than a kid himself. When he does try to
play a more traditional father figure he occasionally goes
overboard - he once wound up writing one of Trent's research
papers for school.
Bill has two close friends: Podiatrist Bob
Spoonerman provides Bill with frat boy-like temptations, and
hair-replacement specialist Paul DuFrayne who is somewhat
jealous of Bill and Susan's apparent domestic bliss.
