The AD Show look
It was the design furniture store Matisse who inspired The Ad Show's funky set. When they offered to provide our chairs they suggested we really needed something that would stand out and who could miss Hazel's stunning chair.
The Ribbon Chair is a design classic that graces the likes of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne. Designed for Artifort in 1966 by renowned designer Pierre Paulin, the Ribbon Chair is iconic and a triumph of art, form and function.
Even its fabric "Momentum Blue Flame" is the original design. The AD Show also features Paulin's Tulip chairs designed in 1965.
Once we saw the chairs from Matisse the entire design for the set changed to reflect their outrageous energy.
Thanks to Matisse for providing all The AD Show's awe-inspiring furniture. For further inspiration see - www.matisse.co.nz
