Summer Glau as Cameron
Summer Glau was born in San Antonio, Texas, where she was raised by her contractor father and schoolteacher mother. Glau began her career as a ballet dancer and later studied acting. Her work as a prima ballerina on "Angel" introduced her to Joss Whedon, who cast her in "Firefly" and the feature film "Serenity."
Glau has made guest appearances on various television series, including "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Cold Case," "The 4400" and "The Unit." She can also be seen starring in the films "Mammoth" and "The Initiation of Sarah."
Glau lives in Los Angeles.
