Three ITF Professional Tournament finals with Kiwis participating were played on the weekend - and each one had a good ending.

In Thailand, Rubin Statham played against sixth-seeded Roman Jebavy from Czech Republic and won in three sets with a 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 score. Statham and Jebavy, as partners, had already secured the doubles title at the event.

In Pune, India, Dan King-Turner followed his compatriot in winning an ITF Futures tournament. He outplayed German Alexander Slatschko, the second seed, with the score of (3)6-7, 6-4, 6-2.

Sacha Jones played at the $25,000 ITF Tournament in Mount Gambier, Australia, and faced former world top-ten player Alicia Molik in the final. In a hard-fought match, victory was on Jones' side. The score was 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.

Jones has become something of a thorn in the great Australian's comeback bid, having defeated Molik twice in as many weeks.
