So apparently this multi-talented Sports Illustrated swimsuit model also plays tennis, who knew?
We should count ourselves lucky that the 22-year-old Maria Kirilenko graced the baseline at our beloved ASB Classic this year. Currently, we are working on a petition here at tvnz.co.nz to cover the courts in sand next year to try and entice her to turn out in her bikini.
Kirilenko is yet to win a WTA title but she is still contributing to the TV friendly spectacle of tennis. Why only days ago, this Russian hottie exchanged grunts and squeals with Maria Sharapova at the Australian Open. (Kirilenko went through, but the viewers were the real winners.)
Her Russian boyfriend, Igor Andreev (that's right, Igor), was knocked out of the Aussie Open by the Fed Express, but he probably won't mind as it just gives the lucky devil more time to spend with his lovely lady.
You may have thought the Cold War was all about Communism vs Capitalism. Well, you were wrong.
Kirilenko and her Russian female counterparts are the secret weapons that the Russians were working on: An army of super hot tennis vixens primed to take over the tennis world.
It truly would have been a shame to have this gem hidden behind an iron curtain.
So let's just take a moment to reflect and give thanks.
