Sacha Jones roars into another final

New Zealand tennis player Sacha Jones has made the final of an international women's tournament in the United States.

Jones notched her 24th consecutive single win when she beat Georgia's Anna Tatishvili 3-6 6-2 6-1 to reach the final of Tuesday's morning's $US50,000 ($NZ69,204) Goldwater Tennis Classic at the Phoenix Country Club.

She will play second seeded American Varvara Lepchenko in the final.

Lepchenko beat third seed Rosana De Los Rios of Paraguay 6-0 6-0 in the other semifinal.

Jones last week won a tournament at Rock Hill, South Carolina.
