After coaching Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Boris Becker and the Williams sisters, the world's most successful tennis coach is showing no signs of slowing down, despite being 77.
Nick Bollettieri still gets up at 4.00am every day at his home in Florida to continue the most influential coaching career in tennis.
"I'm 77 by numbers only. I'm a lot younger because that's the way I feel, that's the way I act and that's the way I perform every day," he says.
Since setting up a tennis academy in 1978, his graduates have won over 170 grand slam titles with 10 of them becoming world number ones.
Bollettieri says every player he coached has taught him something different.
He says Andre Agassi taught him to be a better listener, "which is very important".
Monica Seles taught him that even though her style was unorthodox, "take a look at it before you say change".
Bollettieri says Boris Becker knew the game of tennis very well. "(Becker) taught me to say very little and when I did speak, I better speak in the right way because he knew the game extremely well."
As for glamour girl Maria Sharapova, she taught Bollettieri that while she can smile and look beautiful, "she was mean ... and competitive".
The Italian-American coach is famous for his method of creating a unique programme for each individual player and it is still working with three of his pre-teen proteges rated top in the world for their age.
He says simplicity is the answer.
"I look at you, I think I can get to know you quicker than you know yourself ... I work out how can I help you and your style, your mentality, your physical make-up in a very simple way and that's how I teach."
The legendary coach shows no signs of slowing down according to his eighth wife Cindi.
"He still, in his mind, has a hundred years to go, and a lot to accomplish. He will never retire," she says.
