A revolution may be underway at Wellington East Girls College after the school reversed the normal order of teaching.
Students at the school have been recruited to help their teachers, work on their computer skills.
Head of computing Cris Roughton says children today know more on how to work on computers than most adults, including teachers.
"It's an amazing rapidly changing landscape, and our children are actually much more up to date with that, and so at any given point they can actually offer the teachers a lot of advice and help," says Roughton.
The initiative is in its second year and every fortnight, the teachers learn everything from dot coms and giga bytes to uploads, rams and roms.
And they apparently don't mind being on the other end, saying the learning process is mostly fun, less work and enjoyable.
And teachers are not the only ones invited to come for the classes.
Many of the students' parents are also now attending classes taught by their own children.
