It seems the world is all aflutter with news of a mysterious spiral of blue light in the Norwegian sky.
According to The Sun , the world's top scientists and military are puzzled by the phenomenon.
Witnesses say the light looked like a spiral of white light, with a blue "tail" anchoring it to Earth. The event lasted approximately two minutes.
So far, theories include Russian missiles, meteors and, of course, alien life forms.

Norwegian astronomer Knut Jorgen Roed Odegaard claims to have never seen anything like the spiral of light before.
"This spiral shape is unique. It is definitely not a variation of the aurora borealis - northern lights."
