Apple Inc is expected to reveal its latest device this week - a tablet computer described as an "iPhone on steroids".
Canadian analyst Carmi Levy told AFP that the tablet uses the App Store and iPhone operating system.
It is believed it will have a 25.4cm colour screen and can be used for surfing the internet, listening to music, watching movies and reading e-books.
According to AFP, the tablet would be Apple's first major product release since it released the iPhone three years ago.
However, critics say that the tablet will be awkwardly large and
will not be overly competitive with other devices.
