Shane Taurima (Executive Producer)

Shane Taurima is an award winning journalist who has worked in print, broadcasting and electronic media for the past 16 years. He is the Executive Producer of Te Karere and back-up Presenter. He spent 12 years in the Parliamentary Press Gallery, covering the cut and thrust of Maori politics, including four general elections. Shane also works as a casual News Presenter. He has hosted several election and news programmes and is also the former presenter of Marae - TVNZ's Maori current affairs programme. Shane is also a co-presenter for Marae Investigates.
