Police believe Mongrel Mob involved in Lee Rata’s death

The Northland township of Moerewa was hit with a police raid this morning. Three properties were raided in relation to the death of 35-year-old Kaitaia man Lee Rata who was fatally beaten and found lying near a footpath on New Year’s Eve. Police believe Mongrel Mob members were involved in the altercation.
