Ngahuia Wade (Tuhoe/Tuwharetoa) has worked in and around broadcasting for the past 20 years. A qualified lawyer and former press gallery reporter, Ngahuia has come back to journalism after five years working as a Director for her production company Te Noni Ltd. In 2009 her team won a Qantas Film and Television Award for the drama documentary ka haku au; a poets lament, and again in 2010 with the highly acclaimed e tu kahikatea series.
Ngahuia is a Te Panekiretanga graduate and has been involved in all aspects of te reo Maori broadcasting from directing, producing, script writing and reporting in radio and television.
