Māori All Blacks announce lineup to play Fiji

The Māori All Blacks have named their team to play against Fiji at the ANZ Stadium in Suva, Fiji.

The line-up includes the two sets of brothers; Akira and Rieko Ioane, and Marty and Damian McKenzie.

The side will also be captained by newly capped All Black Charlie Ngatai.

In a press release, Coach Colin Cooper says he’s pleased with how well the team has come together.

“This squad has developed a great spirit very quickly and even though we had a long journey to Suva, we’re in good shape.

“We’re really looking forward to training today and adapting to the hotter conditions here.”

Joe Moody, Ash Dixon, Ben May, Jacob Skeen, Hayden Triggs, Akira Ioane, Mitchell Crosswell, Blade Thomson, Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Marty McKenzie, Kurt Baker, Charlie Ngatai, Matt Proctor , Rieko Ioane, Damian McKenzie.

Reserves:  Quentin MacDonald, Brendon Edmonds, Josh Hohneck, Heiden Bedwell-Curtis, Elliot Dixon, Jamison Gibson-Park, Otere Black, Jason Emery.
