What do you need to bring with you?
When it's time to have a chat with your bank, bring
along:
- Proof of your annual income
- Details of your debts and expenses
- Your sale and purchase agreement (if you've already made an offer)
- Evidence of your deposit, such as bank statements or sale and purchase agreement (for the home you're selling)

What to expect
Your first meeting with the Westpac team should take
about 20-30 minutes (or 45 minutes without an appointment).
In this meeting, you'll discuss how you much you can borrow,
the required deposit, your interest rate options, valuations, legal
advice, insurance and what happens the house is being auctioned or
sold by tender.
