About Talk Talk and Finlay

Talk Talk on TVNZ 7

Talk Talk, New Zealand's classiest talk show, returns for a fifth series featuring in-depth chat and live-in-the-studio music on TVNZ 7 (and Sky channel 77) from Tuesday, June 14.

The series, hosted by journalist Finlay Macdonald, has established itself as compulsory viewing for New Zealanders keen to get close and personal with a stellar array of high-achieving Kiwis.

The ethos of the half-hour show is to talk in depth to the guests, not so much about what they do as what makes them tick. Each episode also features a performance from one of a wide variety of local bands and musicians.

Guests booked to appear on the new 15-part series include musicians John Psathas, Dave McArtney and Mel Parsons and novelist Sarah-Kate Lynch.

Talk Talk series 5 launches on TVNZ 7 (and Sky 77) on Tuesday, June 14, at 9.05pm and runs for 15 weeks.
