Tom Natoealofa
Tagata Pasifika's Presenter, Tom Natoealofa grew
up in the Pacific communities in South Auckland.
Tom was born at Middlemore hospital and grew up in Otara...He
did two years at Tangaroa College before completing High School at
De La Salle College in Mangere East.
"My dad is full Samoan and my mum is � German �
Samoan, and are both from Poutasi, Falealili on the beautiful
island of Upolu." Tom explains.
"To be the presenter for Tagata Pasifika for me is the best
start for my career in television&the most exciting part is
that my family can see that all my hard work and studying is
finally paying off...chee hoo"
It means a lot to Tom to be a Pacific Islander because "it makes
me a part of something that's bigger than being from just One
Island, it enables me to relate and identify with other
cultures."
Tom has appeared in a TV commercial and many theatre productions
such as "Dawn Raids" (Lead - Sione), "Our Street" (rehearsal
director and cast as Matt) and "Blood Wedding" (Lead -
Leonardo).
Tom enjoys watching movies, playing the guitar and spending time
with his partner and their new-born daughter Leandra-Malan.
