Tuvalu is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world at risk of global warming&  the highest point above sea level is just four metres.Last week Tuvalu held a special festival to highlight the issue of rising sea levels.

   

Loan sharks - Labour MP Carol Beaumont launched her campaign to crack down on Loan Sharks. She was rallying support for her bill which seeks to tighten regulations in an industry that preys on Pacific people

   

Liquor - There are renewed calls to ban liquor outlets in suburban areas, particluarly in South Auckland. At the same time the Pacific community's being urged to keep an eye on their young people.

   

Jeremy Leatinu'u - March is always a hectic month on the arts scene and one of the many artists exhibiting at the moment is Jeremy Leatinu'u who was the first Pacific Island student to win an Irish Fisher scholarship which paid for his last year at art school.

100 year old Niuean Mokasehina Toe is one of our living treasures! and she's  believed to be the oldest Niuean in the world. Shimpal Lelisi meets this special matua tupuna to find out her secret to long life
