Brave choice
He did what every right-minded Kiwi male would do - stepped in to break up a domestic assault, to save a woman from a bashing. But Mark McCutcheon paid dearly - with his life. His act of chivalry left a wife without a husband, three kids without a father and a young gang prospect facing a life prison sentence. Should McCutcheon have tried to be a hero?
