A home grown comedy about child neglect by New Zealand film director of the moment, Taika Waititi. It's just premiered at Sundance and won best feature at the Berlin Film Festival. But the audience Waititi most wants to impress doesn't live anywhere near a movie theatre.
SUNDAY follows director Waititi as he takes the film to his remote home town on the East Cape where he cast and shot the movie. We meet James, the young lead who had never acted before, and we share a secret about a huge development in Waititi's career.
