No Hopetoun
It was a modern day Klondike. The mining boom created a frenzy of Kiwi immigration to Hopetoun in Western Australia for the big wages and lifestyle being promised by the nickel miners: more than $100,000 a year, week on week off, for a storeman for the next 20 years, they said. Then the bubble burst; the recession kicked in, and now the Kiwis have no jobs, no future, no hope ... and big mortgages. Their Australian dream is over - where do they turn?

Two Days In Hell

No doll outshines her celebrity, but she's also come under criticism for offering girls an unrealistic expectation of womanhood and inspiring eating disorders. SUNDAY examines Barbie's career.
