Beauty! - Makeup artist Tracey Nelson shares some handy hints about
how she transforms actress Shavaughn Ruakere into Roimata
Ngatai.
Makeup: We start with a primer, followed by Mac sculpt
foundation.
We just use this lightly as Shavaughn has great skin. We then use a
combination of three Mac eye shadows: 'shroom', 'solde' and 'naked
lunch'.
We use Mac's 'stubborn brown kohl' liner on her top lash-line and
halfway across the bottom of her eye.
We complete the look with Mac's 'spring sheen' blush and some 'star
nova' gloss.
Hair: We spray Shavaughn's hair with a
thermal spray first and then use GHD's to add more defined curls to
Shavaughn's already curly hair.
Lastly, we give her hair a light spray of Wella gloss spray.
Some hair/makeup product essentials:
Mac's 'spring sheen' blusher, Mac's 'star nova' gloss, L'oreal's
thermal protector and Wella high hair gloss serum.
Catch Shavaughn in action weeknights 7pm, TV2.
