Sally Martin
Shortland Street's Sally Martin already has an extensive list of acting credits to her name, having worked consistently as an actor since she was 15 years old.
From 2002-2003, Sally starred in the cult hit Disney series,
Power Rangers as the Blue Ranger, Tori and secured a massive
international fan base.
She also returned to the show in 2004 and 2007 for further reunion
episodes.
Wellington-born and bred Sally first broke into the acting industry
when a casting director noticed her in a school theatre performance
and convinced her to sign up with an agent.
She started on Cloud Nine's The Tribe and Atlantis High when she
was 16.
Following this, she has worked on several projects with
Wellington-based Gibson Group including The Strip (starring
Shorty's own Robbie Magasiva), My Story and Welcome to
Paradise.
She also worked on Gibson Group's award-winning tele-movie
Aftershock.
She has also worked on several American feature films including Wendy Wu: Homecoming Queen and Murder in Greenwich and the independent New Zealand film The Last Great Snail Chase.
Sally relocated to Auckland for her role on Shortland Street, playing bisexual nurse Nicole Miller.
During her spare time Sally enjoys good food and wine and hanging out with her family and friends.
