Recognise this face? Andrea Kelland is a familiar face on screen and behind the scenes of Shortland Street.
She’s been the casting director for Shortland Street for seven years and has played Ms Dupree, the Principal of Ferndale High for the last 11 years!

Herself an actor, Andrea has had extensive experience in theatre, film and television and now she’s returning to the stage with her new show Speakeasy.
Set in the classic 1920s speakeasy, the show consists of eight short tales of love and desperation, alcoholism and hooliganism, comedy and tragedy.
Kelland is appearing alongside Tom Sainsbury and Stephanie Johnson and she says the idea from the show came from a meeting with one of her co-stars.
“[I] met up with Tom Sainsbury with the idea of doing a stand-up comic routine and Speakeasy was born!” she explains.
The show is on at the Basement Theatre in Auckland and runs until Saturday 29th September, so you’ll need to get in quick!
