Jasmine is a quiet 14-year-old girl, the daughter of Wendy and
Murray Cooper.
Jasmine is academic, loves books, and often finds herself lumped
with the double edged sword of being teacher's pet.
She's the great hope of the Coopers, who haven't produced a
university graduate on either side of the family.
Jasmine is well aware of the expectations surrounding her future,
but at the moment, is only concerned with living up to them.
Jasmine has a moral, black and white view of the world - but she
lacks the confidence to back her convictions.
She dislikes her weakness, and thinks of herself as something of a
coward.
After a serious illness scare this year, which saw her diagnosed
with a serious heart condition and fitted with a pacemaker, Jasmine
has developed a fascination with all things other-wordly.
She is determined to discover what happens after you die and is
prepared to do whatever it takes to find out the answer, much to
the shock of her boyfriend Phoenix.
Jasmine has a love-hate relationship with her brother Evan but gets on well with her sister Bella.
