Bree Peters wins big at the Tropfest Short Film Festival 2015

The Tropfest Film Festival 2015 was held last weekend at the TSB Bowl and Bree Peters short filmEvery Momenttook out four of the five awards up for grabs. These included Best Actress (Bree Peters), Best Film, ZM Peoples Choice and the Maori Creativity Award.

Im surprised and delighted to have won, I didnt expect this but Im so grateful and honoured, says Bree. Im so glad and happy to have been a part of this film, it has been such a fun experience for me.

The judging panel for the Tropfest Film Festival was made up of James Napier Robertson, director of the multi award-winning filmThe Dark Horse, Dana Lund, who composed the soundtrack forThe Dark Horse, Robert Sarkies director ofScarfiesandOut of the Blue, entertainment lawyer and president of both SPADA (Screen Production and Development Association) and WIFT (Women in Film and Television) Karen Soich, award-winning writer, director and producer Gaylene Preston and editor of theDirectory of World Cinema: Australia & New Zealand 2and film lecturer at Waikato University Geoff Lealand.
