The birthday celebrations continue
Friday was the big day and ONE News was live from the red carpet at Shortland Street's 20th birthday bash down at the Viaduct Events Centre.
Ruth Wynn-Williams also headed along to the set earlier in the
week to chat to Michael Galvin about celebrating 20 years on screen
and the show's impact on New Zealand.
Close Up also joined in the celebrations with Mark Sainsbury heading behind the scenes and to meet two men who make our longest running drama tick, Shortland Street producer Steven Zanoski and director Wayne Tourell.
The pair revealed some fascinating insights into the making of
the country's longest running drama.
