Adam Rickitt (Kieran Mitchell)
What are some of your favourite things about
summer?
- Girls are legally allowed to wear next to nothing.
- Driving with the windows down and cool music.
- The fact I know my friends are freezing back home!
Can you tell us one of your stand-out summer
memories?
The first summer when I arrived in NZ was amazing.
One day sticks out in particular when I took my dog Rufus to Piha
beach, ran into some friends and ended up spending the whole day
there, chilling, barbequing and swimming.
Any advice for getting ready for summer?
- Lots of ice cream in the freezer
- Wear jandals every day
- Drink Pimms. It's the only season when doing so doesn't make you
look like a prat!
Mark Warren (Oliver Ritchie)

long days! Socialising with friends and family.
Can you tell us about one of your stand-out summer
memories?
Sitting on the famous Ubatuba beach in Brazil, drinking cold beer
and watching half the people on the beach dancing to the latest
Samba routine, with my girlfriend.
Brazilian's know how to party!
Any advice for getting ready for summer?
Enjoy the sun, but wear sun block! Get in shape for
those summer romances.
Kimberley Crossman (Sophie McKay)
What are some of your favourite things about
summer?
The sun, warmth, bikinis, barbeques, holidays, sun-kissed skin.
Feeling good - being with my family and friends.
Can you tell us one of your stand-out summer memories?
I love summer and every summer so far has been amazing. I would
have to say the most stand-out experiences are the ones where I
have gone on road trips to various beaches and just hung out with
my friends.
My favourite thing about summer is not having a list of things I
"HAVE TO DO" and being able to do whatever comes to mind.
The best memories I have are at our family bach with close friends
and family. We eat good food and have a great time.
Any advice for getting ready for summer?
I think the best thing to do is make the most of the good weather
early in Spring, this way the summer months seem longer.
I have already brought two new bikinis and I truly feel that summer
is on the way.
I am lucky that Cheerleading has become far more intense due to
competition season so I am subconsciously forced to increase my
fitness and exercise leading up to summer.
Also a good spring clean of the wardrobe and drawers are a great
way to get in the festive mentality!
Amanda Billing (Sarah Potts)
What are some of your favourite things about
summer?
Long days, berries and ice-cream at the beach.
Can you tell us about one of your stand-out summer
memories?
One summer, I went to the beach every day for over a week. I had my
watch off and had no idea what day it was. I lost track of time and
had nothing 'to do'.
Any advice for getting ready for summer? (eg. hit the gym, pack the
winter woollies away, get bikini shopping etc)
Get a spray-tan before you go tog-shopping.
