Second-generation actress Lucy Elliott is following in the footsteps of her father, Peter Elliott when she joins the Shortland Street cast in 2013.
Peter played Dr David Kearney from1996 – 1999. Lucy joins the show as wayward teenager, Dayna Jenkins.
Auckland born Elliott remembers watching her father on the show when she was only six and admits she has always dreamed of being an actress from an early age.
Her first opportunities to tread the boards came when she was at Western Springs College and began performing in school plays.
From there she gained roles in several commercials and then scored herself a role in the hit children series Power Rangers.
Lucy has also spent several years working as a professional model and has featured in a variety of editorial spreads in magazines.
A self-proclaimed gaming nerd, Elliott also loves to draw and paint in her spare time.
