Seven Sharp reporter Heather du Plessis-Allan
A Television Awards finalist, Heather has joined Seven Sharp after five years as a One News reporter, covering everything from life at Scott Base to the London Olympic Games.
Heather has an Arts degree majoring in Political Science from Auckland University. She says she headed into her studies with no clear idea of a career path but found she was fascinated by the relationship between the media and politicians.
After a chance week's worth of work experience in a Wellington TV newsroom she was hooked.
