Jeff Perry has numerous TV credits, including his role as Inspector Harvey Leek on the crime drama "Nash Bridges," and recurring roles on "LA Law" and "Prison Break." 

For a generation of 30-somethings, he will always be the beloved gay English teacher Richard Katimski from the cult TV hit show "My So-Called Life." (Remember when he opened the door and let Ricky come and stay with him... oh the glorious understated beauty of that moment...)

More recently Jeff guest starred on "Lost," "Fringe" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." He also notably played Meredith Grey's estranged father, Thatcher Grey, on the TV2 hit drama "Grey's Anatomy."

Jeff's movie credits include roles in "Remember My Name," "A Wedding," "The Grifters," "Storyville," "Wild Things" and "The Human Stain."

Jeff Perry is an actor, teacher and co-founder of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where he has served as Steppenwolf Artist Director and has been an integral part to the founding of the School at Steppenwolf, where he continues to teach and direct.
