Lack of wind delays Louis Vuitton opener

It has been a frustrating start to the Louis Vuitton Trophy regatta on Auckland's Waitemata Harbour.

Light winds have delayed racing for a couple of hours with organisers hoping to get underway later on Tuesday afternoon.

The first match has Mascalzone Latino against All 4 One followed by Azzurra against Team Origin.

Team New Zealand face the Swedish Artemis challenge in the third race of the day.

The French Aleph sailing team meet Russia's Synergy in the final race.
