Big guns gone in Adelaide Sevens

There is an unusual looking semi-final line-up at the Adelaide Sevens on Sunday afternoon.

New Zealand, Fiji and South Africa have all been knocked out in the quarter-finals with the Kiwis once again falling to recent nemesis Samoa .

Hosts Australia upset Fiji in the final seconds of their match while Argentina got past South Africa 17-14.

The United States, who have only four standings' points, beat Wales 12-10.

In the semis, Samoa takes on Australia (6:26pm NZT) and Argentina meets the United States (6.48pm NZT).

New Zealand currently lead the world series on 84 points with Samoa second and Fiji third.
