Piri Weepu will carry a burden into Saturday's Air New Zealand Cup semi-final for Wellington hosting Southland.
In a now familiar move, Weepu will call the shots from first-five eight, as well as taking on the goal kicking.
Apart from last weekend's game against Tasman, Weepu says he hasn't done a lot of kicking in recent times but thinks he actually kicked quite well against Tasman.
He says he's relaxed about the move to as he's now played a lot
with halfback Alby Mathewson at both Air New Zealand Cup and Super
rugby level.
