North Harbour has been forced into a reshuffle for tomorrow's Air NZ Cup match against Waikato after second five-eighth Andrew Mailei was suspended for two weeks.

New Zealand Rugby Union judicial officer Chris Morris handed out the suspension at a hearing in Auckland on Tuesday night after he found that Mailei had performed a spear tackle in last weekend's defeat of Counties-Manukau.

The suspension means Mailei, who was yesterday named for the Waikato match, will also miss the next fixture against Bay of Plenty.

Hayden Abercrombie has been promoted to start with Nafi Tuitavake coming onto the bench for the clash.

Revised North Harbour team to play Waikato in Hamilton on Thursday is:

Jack McPhee, Ken Pisi, George Pisi, Hayden Abercrombie, Rudi Wulf, Mike Harris, Matt France, Vili Ma'afu, Tom Chamberlain, Anthony Boric (captain), Filo Paulo, James King, Ben Afeaki, Mike Mayhew, Michael Reid. Reserves: James Hanson, James Afoa, Chris Smith, Scott Uren, Nalu Tuigamala, Ben Botica, Nafi Tuitavake.
