Ticket sales for the Crusaders do-or-die clash with the Bulls are proving sluggish just two days out from Saturday's match.
8500 tickets remain unsold at the 21.000 capacity
stadium with some season ticket holders and corporate's not
taking up their options.
The franchise reported on Tuesday that just over 8000 tickets
remained however it appears the Crusaders fans have become
apathetic again at a crucial stage in their side's season.
After being deprived of rugby for so long in the wake of the
Christchurch earthquakes, fans turned out en masse for the
Crusaders opening match at the revamped Rugby League Park against
the Cheetahs, their first home game in almost two years.
The slow ticket sales for this weeks game is a throwback to the
days when Christchurch fans seemed non-plussed by their sides
seemingly automatic appearance in the Super Rugby finals.
The winner of this week's game advances to the tournament
semi-finals, playing either the Chiefs or the Stormers depending on
the result from the other qualifier match.
